I think its been nearly 10 years now since I saw the last lunar eclipse. This time around I was ready with camera in hand (and by that i mean in tripod). Took a while to get the settings and exposure right, and of course in this case the term "trying to shoot a moving target" is very apt. Most of the shots I got were around 6400 ISO between 1/250 to 1/500 or (1" to 2") depending on which portion I was focusing on. Anything more than 1" was too much exposure movement.
Kit: Canon EOS 550D + 100-400MM F4.5-5.6 L IS USM + 2.0x extender + TV Mode + MF
Enjoy!
